Hadal Zone is a science fiction, fantasy, and horror book club that takes its name from the deepest, darkest region of the ocean. Just as the hadal zone represents the furthest reaches of the ocean's depths, our book club seeks to explore the outer limits of the speculative fiction genres. From space operas to cyberpunk to epic fantasy to cosmic horror, we will dive deep into the most imaginative and thought-provoking works of science fiction, fantasy, and horror literature. Whether you're a longtime fan of these genres or a newcomer looking to explore new literary depths, Hadal Zone is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the fantastic and the unknown.
Hadal Zone will meet in the store at 7pm on the last Tuesday of the month.
For May, the club will be reading The Ballad of Black Tom, by Victor Lavalle and The Horror at Red Hook, by HP Lovecraft.
